Let’s paint the town red

Project Super Achievers is over. It was, surprisingly, rather good. Coach Yvonne was good, she’s an entertaining speaker who gets her points across really effectively with her stories and she captures our attention well.

…I don’t understand. I don’t. It takes two hands to clap, doesn’t it? It’s not fair that the teacher has to put in so much effort to carry out her lesson, to plan her work and try to pass her knowledge on to us, and the students are not willing to cooperate, they talk, they giggle, they whisper.

They change seats, they fool around, they slump on the table. They sleep.

She cries. Asks for a moment to compose herself.

And the students, wonderful students, continue their laughing and playing, completely disregarding the teacher.

And my heart breaks for the teacher.
