How Would I Know?

with 5 comments

Some unknown person once said, “The written word can be erased- not so with the spoken word.” No offense meant but I don’t believe in that. Because you can feel just as hurt reading something that someone wrote.

As a student leader you’ve got to have something that you can give.
“You must have moral courage! Moral courage to do the right thing!”
“Don’t be afraid to do something and be scared that your friends won’t want to talk to you after this!”
“You must know when to do what is right.”

Well screw you teachers who say that- they don’t really know how difficult it is. They can say what they like because well, teachers don’t have to care what students say about them they’ve got the other teachers to rally around them anyway.
We need acceptance. Everybody knows it’s suicide if you don’t have friends in school.
Some people just want their views to be heard. I guess that’s something to be encouraged, but I wish I wouldn’t feel hurt getting to know about it.
So you think you know how to choose between what is right and what is popular?

Please could you not insult me this way, even if you weren’t refering to me, when I am just trying to do what I have to do?

It’s so hard but how many people actually see that.

  5. Yes, it’s not easy being a leader at all, because there are so many times we stopped to think twice if our words and actions actually lead people to hate us. And sometimes you feel so strongly about something but don’t speak up for fear of being discriminated. Ahhh leadership is something which cannot be measured, really, so teachers don’t qualify to judge leaders, nobody qualifies !
