For That Little Bit of Fun

Saturday was a day of fun. There was no tuition in the morning. Went to watch Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in the afternoon. I reckon the movie’s quite good- there’s a nice balance of comedy and action and good feel. The random animal encounters in the movie were especially hilarious. Harrison Ford and Cate Blanchett were good, I liked them. I say, GO AND WATCH! It’s worth your time, it is 🙂

Then…I went to take the Singapore Flyer! 😀 My dad got free tickets!

It was very nice. It was peaceful and almost surreal in that capsule- only my Dad, Mum, sister, brother, Uncle, Aunt, my cousin and another group of 5 people. We were lucky because quite a lot of people were squashed into the next capsule. The night lights were fantastic, you could see the Central Business District, the Esplanade, the hotels, the expressways (that looked more and more like toys as we went up), the nearby golf course, the lights, pretty lights in the distance. We went up higher and higher. And then, half an hour later, we went down. The Singapore Flyer moves ever so slowly, you don’t feel it.

And up there, I don’t have to think of a single thing but enjoy myself. And that was the best part.
